It’s OVER! Dammit

There was so much to have had been done during these extra long 2 month holiday was it? Besides from the stack of holiday homework and year 11 revision to be completed you had to enjoy the break!! To the FULLEST!! .. won’t be having another break this big in six-seven months or so.

For the first time ever, I actually wasn’t bored on my holidays and did stuff. Most of my imaginary list of events to do where done =] They were:

1 .Go house visiting (7 houses) well.. I went to five ..yep Melissa’s is still the best.. and I guess going to two new restaurants makes up for the other two

2. Experience something new: wo0T archery!! Fun stuff… I like my bow and arrow hahaa

3. Go to the beach.. yeah! Lake’s entrance and Chelsea.. both have cheap stuff and nice shops too hehe..

4.Draw something everyday: well mostly done, mostly scribbles

5.Find a comic book store: That was a little far stretched …didn’t seriously think that there would be a whole entire store decated to good ol’ marvel and dc comics.. but they! Went to city.. and thought might as well ask information bout it since we were passing it. Lady had no idea, looked in yellow pages and bingo! Found it =] right next to JB too. Hehe.. just where we were heading

6.Visit an art gallery: wah! They paintings are soo good!!! Amazing.. visited hmm.. 4-5 that day?? Martin Grant on was really good. Those jacket designs were awesome. They were suspended by a thin wire and from a distance it looked like the jackets were floating in mid-air.

7.Read something other than school books: haha. I read Garfield’s guide to everything! Really good book.. in there I learnt that the Japanese word ‘karoshi’ means ‘death by overwork’ .. well we will be definitely experiencing that in year 12 =_=’ haha..another quote I thought sounded funny was his comments about show business, “If William Hung can do it, anyone can” hahahaHAHaahAH

8.Get a job: well yep did get a job ..earned over a thousand dollars over the six weeks ..hehe it was quite an easy job too…just selling calendars.. woah.. imagine the income I would get if I go to uni and study something and get a career… big bucks!! Hahaha..

9.Write a comic: Adventure of Lisah and the tincanman. AGH.. still on that.. >.< must finish that today lol...last day of holiday.

10.Cut hair funny: well..it’s rather long at the front and short at the back.. never got around to the hairdressers for appointment. Guess..fuzzy/short hair will have to wait.

11.See primary school friends: wah!! It’s been what 7 years!! NICK!! Hahaha.. saw jonah, matt, Barbara too =] Didn’t know Barbara worked at coles…all that time she was in the glen possibly the same time I was.. haha.. the shop I was at was also just two away from coles.. >.< small world indeed. best part of holidays.. *nod*

12. Watch movies on the first day they come out: yep .. both narnia and memiors of a geisha were good.. go see em..best part in both movies would have to be their musical score

*takes in a big breath* .. year 12.. bring it ON! >=[ hehe

hahah..chinese new year =]

The one thing on all chinese kid's mind would be the new year.. it falls on a different date coz of the lunar calender and all.

It's funny everytime someone around them would mention new year i can see dollar signs in their eyes.. their light up, lips break into a grin, eyes goes squinty sometimes on others they look like lines..and they giggle/laugh..

well yesterday ..dinner with the church at 'king whale' resturant at springvale. bleh.. everyone came so late.. 1.5 hours late. So, sis and i went to most tables eating their prawn crackers =]

it was also a karaoke night and wahh.. we suck.hahhaha. There were two little kids.. so brave!! they sang some song all by themself and tthey were really good.! wah.. 7 year olds that knew fluent mandarin.. amazing. ..puts us to shame -_-'

food was good.. i CANT USE CHOPSTICKS!.. bleh. rice went everywhere.. so clumsy. =/ For only twenty dollars a head it was alright... although the rice was very grainy.. speaking of rice...gah.. maybe i should give up my food title.. i can't eat as much as i used to . *sigh* or as fast.. noo.. that cheeseburger comp with quyen.. it will haunt me ..hahaa.. yer..first time someone on my table had more rice than me .... 7/8 bowls! wahh..amazing.. ' four is enough for me.

oh yer.. forgot to mention that we were served by a guy called PETER PAN! hahaha.. yep that was his real name.. .yer. he was some azn guy..ahahha

was really late when we left.. stupid mosquitoes x_x

woke up at 7.30am and did it right up till now.. woah 7 pages of stuff.. you are right grace.. it's more when you start typing =/ Hopefully it's year 12 quality. .haha.. i have no idea how media works anymore..

so far my plan of doing hw everyday hasn't helped.. so.. i will have one day to finish one subject's homework. A subject a DAY! ARGH. That way i get two days rest before school starts.. i have the the worst feeling that, that is not going to happen some how..

it's too much.. i need one more year.. bleh.. me so greedy.. but one year will definately make all the difference.. too bad that aint happening.. =/

at work the other day and was reading the notes in the calenders coz i was bored..found a funny one from a calender called "Uncle Mic's fishy tales" it read:

I remember this tale from a few years ago. Two mates, Smiley and Whytie, went on the annual fishing trip to Byron Bay, he used to say the air made his mind feel relaxed. Anyway, one night after a good feed and a few bottles of home brew, they both lay down and went to sleep.

they will be:

take up swimming again
learn taekwondo ..i wanna see that black belt lol
do work experience at channel 10 or 7 which ever i could get
travel to america during holidays
get a job for the whole year.. cash!!
find an interesting art class to go to
CIRCUS SCHOOL!!

yep.. this year circus of Oz are holding classes for teenagers like us =] it's just like tuition but better.. every saturday and term one is 11Feb till 4march.. i wanna go!! here is their course desciption:

The Teenage Special class is for 13-18 year olds. This class caters for both beginner teenagers and those who are continuing on from the Circus Skills class. Skills covered would be Tumbling, Trapeze, Web-spinning, Hula Hoops, Mini-Tramp, Pyramids, Acro-Balance, Tightwire, Juggling, Clowning and more.

And finally, For the Fanatics!. A more focussed approach for those who are really committed to advancing their skills, such as Tumbling, Handstands, Mini-Tramp, Acro-Balance, Flying Trapeze, Double Trapeze, Static Trapeze, Tissus, Corde Lisse, Web-Spinning and Chinese Pole. It is suitable for participants who have a solid foundation already and have completed at least 3 terms of either Circus Skills or Teenage Special

darn ..stupid year 12

Okay so to many I’m still a baby and extremely young.. but I feel old.. I don’t wanna be 17 and go back to school to do year 12. Isn’t there some way that I can just erase that year from my life? Gah.. I’m extremely lazy haha.. well yep I will be going back on the 31^st and I guess I will just have ta do my best. No short cuts.

righto.. you might be wondering what i did on my b'day.. well to state it frankly.. not much ..nothing exciting. had work from 9-6pm -_-' sounds horrible.. but actually it was the fastest 9 hour shift that i have experienced. mainly because i was starring at the magic show in front of the information desk for an hour or so. woah!! i thought.. yer kiddy magic show entertainment.. i will know all the tricks haha.. (used to be obsessed with magic.. still am.. but.. i guess xmen made 'magic' shift down a couple of ranks ..lol) anyways.. HE WAS SO GOOD! there was this part where he made a bird.. yep a real life one pop out of no where! you can't stuff a bird into you tux sleeve. ammazzing .. well yep that was work. oh and calenders are now $5. maybe i should buy mine now hahaha

then at home.. didn't eat coz i kept stuffing myself with those addictive chicken flavoured biscuits at work. then .. finally i managed to get a lift to go to youth group. if ya dunnoz what that is. come along! hahah.. it's just hanging out with pplz at church and summer program has finished *feel so guilty i missed most of it* and we were discussing what we wanted to aim for this year... hmm.. i wanna see more pplz! *struggling to get through to you.. but just you wait! hahah* i really believe that 2006 is when God will open the eyes of those closest around me. Be infected !! hahaa...

and wat could a bday be without icecream cake =] i always have to have my maccas icecream cake..yummm .. weird though.yesterday was the first time it has every rained on my b'day.. *shrugs* i can deal with change.. but just give me my cake! hahaha..

righto.. another intense day of my crazy week. firstly woke up and went off to billy hydes music junction once again. collecting frank.. bleh they said five weeks to service the instrument so i didn't wanna wait..needed it when school starts *sigh* turns out they did service amazing.. from five week wait (he said i was in a 500 instrument waiting line *hmm..suspicious*) and now he did it in one week? proves they take their time or they are just lazy. $170 >.< now i'm broke. *sigh* at least the mute mark and dents are all gone =] surprised they could actually be erased.. aww jasmine no memory mark on instrument of presentation night .hahaha

then straight to the cinema.. watched that Geisha film with indi, angel, sara.. well they were the pplz that showed up ..so bleh.. ya missed the free movie! [real broke now =.=] movie was good.. very artistically done i think. nice colour and cropping/framing of scenes.. the life of a geisha is kinda weird though..scary in fact.. movie went on bit too long.. gah..stared late and they didn't show us any previews.grr.. NO X3 preview!! aww..and i wanted to watch that on big screen.

20 mins left to go to bbq. went to safeway bought a cake.. mum drove us to bbq. well we were the 3rd group of pplz to arrive?? haha.. choice the old.really old..looked as if it was bought to collaspe blacked bbq next to the tea house. thank goodness someone remembered matches.. =]

1.5 hours later.. FIRE!! haha.. well we had sparks and then flames but it took one and a half hours to get it really going and sausages sizzling =] finally ya could smell em.. no thankz to you LAZY BOYS! grr.. didn't bring food, rocked up and expected food, didnt' help with fire.. grrr.

2.25? water fight started..but hmm.. yes..who was that buy?? krishna?? vidz?? one of them i guess. dang i got wet as well.. stupid andy. speaking of andy.. where did you hide quyen?? she showed up..all great ta see her.. hhaaha.. she had tuition so came late.. then she missed the food, didnt' eat.. went missing for an hour? came back and then said baibaiz.. bleh...

a trip to the city.. ART gallERiES

yep...finally decided i should go gallery visiting. well it was vcd hw after all and i could do with some adventure in the city away from home. Meet at glenny station with grace (the art critic), monica (the tour guide), william (angel's friend) and me (comic book kid). grr... yan, zac and david you were all meant ta come =P

took bus and then arrived really quickly in city. first stop NGV [national gallery of victoria]. great stuff.. and best of all FREE =] waoh!! that trail walk and "the altered land" gallery with aussie artists was amongst the best! that oil on canvas is just amazing. everything looked so real! 3D almost.. better than a photograph.

then it we saw martin grant's work. woah.. fashion design those coats were awesome. but what i liked best would be his concept work and idea exploration when he was only at the age of 4. woah.. he kept all his kindergarden drawings intact...that's skill and talent. all the garments where suspended in mid air!! everything looked as if it was floating/hoving..that was the best bit ahaha.

then stopped at acmi.. thank goodness for the tour guide monica hahaha.. we would have been so lost otherwise. went to the world's largest screen gallery and this time they were showing stanley kubrick's work.. woah..there is so much work needed to be done behind every movie. hmmm.. i found his film "A clockwork orange" rather disturbing ..what was with those mental teenages and naked women *shudders* Watched bits of looks of other films and the props where all displayed. haha.. gorilla man. looked so real.. would have hated to wear that heavy ugly mask ..

took tram and went to acca and saw barbara kruger's work. hmm.. lots of words written all over the walls and quite interesting messages behind it all. e.g "you see it, you buy it, you forget it" i think those were the exact words *shrugs*. then went to another ngv place and saw the "british art and the sixties" exhibition. the work there was quite interesting. there was this massive sculpture of bubbles, air being pumped through lots of detergent i'm guessing. it was meant to create the illusion of the ever changing clouds ..yer i guess it worked. but it looked more like ice cream or gelati to me =]

bummed around city for a bit.. went to jb sometime during all this.. bought lantana.. blah.. it better be good if we are goina study it for english.. and WAH! best discovery.. "COMICS R US" hhaha.. lots and lots of xmen comics to choose from.. wahh. the figurines where worth quite a bit $140+ >.<.. gotta go back there next time after the chinese new year red packets come in.. hahaha.

so.. today was busy busy.. first up ..church.. that was great =] missed them at youth on friday coz they all went to a summer camp soul survivor.. wellz most of them.

Then then, lunch and then tracy's b'day party =] first party in the holidays wo0T haha.. lots of fun ahaha.. imagine that 16 girls playing quidtich (not a harry potter fan so no idea how ta spell =P). We were riding ordinary brooms *sigh* and radz GO THE VACUUM cleanER! ahahha.. daring to be different. hopfully tracy would have posted up her photos..they gotta be hilarious.

So.. i was placed in Gryffindor and am well known for blowing up the potions classroom in 4th year. hmmph.. haha..

had to leave half way during party coz of tuition dammit. mum drove to springvale..yer.. mum is driving now! thankz for your prayers.. it's been six months after accident?? dunnoz. so she is slowing back behind the wheels now.

well it was meant ta be a mt. view reunion thingo.. say all the girls we used ta hang out with but everyone decided to pull out on the last day. bleh a month of warning and now this -_-' (things i plan never work out.. so that's why no b'day parties =P ..sorry guys ).

So last minute recruiting people ta go.. but wow so many people are going to summer school and lectures and tuition.. =/ not cool . enjoy the holidays!! but i guess if that's what you have been doing already then yer.. start your homework ..*sigh*

righto it was crystal, angel, monica and I. Beach..finally got there.. water was warm =] nice scenery.. forgot camera -_-' ..got hotter..wanted to go swimming..forgot bathers bleh..

sandcastle competition.. hmm.. tallest tower was 70cm?? gah.. i don't like sand..but i guess i got used ta it ..finally realised no matter how many times you get ya feet clean in the water you will still get sand stuck in between ya toes. Lots of weird see through jelly fish type creatures?? you pick them up and so fragile.. they just break. what are those things? they are at beaches everywhere.. some see through seaweed?

walking around chelsea the stuff was cheap! bought myself Matrix Revolutions movie for $4 =]

so.. yer ..back to work againz. and it was from 9AM till 6PM today..bleh.. long..and this time i didn't bring anything to read.. mainly because i finished the two school novels i have last week whilst standing in front of the boring cash register. So i packed in that Vic Roads learning to drive book in lol..must get Ls soon -_-

saw heaps of pplz today..that was great.. seeing and talking to people make it lot less boring..
lunchbreak.. walked around with angel.. couple minutes later winnie, grace, indi, vicky showed up..then ruth and co. and then shirley ...and inka..and and and.. quite a lot of pplz.

oh..and i manged to draw something too. there was no paper around besides the dodgy notepad next to the register and a black pen.


the other good thing was that i got pay rise =] yeah! well.hopefully it stays that way. used ta be $6.93 (yer..odd number) and now it's $7.15.. still little but better than nuffin ^-^

guess the only down side today would be that i didn't mangage to contact people in time so i could get a lift to youth group *sob* ..

Was in the glen today with sis and mum about some back account thing. Then i remembered it was tracey's birthday really soon so i thought i should go and look for something. GAS was the closest shop at the time and i walked in. They had this table full of stuff near the entrance i was scanning for stuff for about ten seconds of what she might like and it wasn't until i went to pick up a pair of earrings i realised it was a GIRLY STORE! argh.. shock of surprise coz i was so slow -_-' ran out..

I would never willingly go into a store like that.. eek.. *shudders* only at the start of this year, walking past it make me want to puke but i walked IN it!! argh... i've become immuned to this stuff ...

on the side>> today went to library to find english articles.. bleh it's been ages and there is nuffin on the net. Turns out many other people were also at the library and i actually did constructive stuff and didn't chat much =] v. happy.. i got all the articles i needed. although most of the are in the month of December and the Herald Sun.. bleh..so much for variety.

people i saw today at library..odd bunch >> andrew, jon, stephen kimber?? well it's been a while.. dammit why does everyone have to be taller than me =[ .. grace, another grace, alvin, winnie, indi..bwahaha..her phone went off and it was REALLy loud. ermz.. angie and her friends.

ARCK! GAh! Little kids

The visitors have just left. Mum’s boss and family and workers at her child care place all came over. I just planned to lock meself up in room and do homework lol.. it’s probably the only time I can do stuff. But ARGH! The kids.. were so annoying.

Well at first they looked all innocent and harmless..and when i put a dvd on for them to watch the older kid (grade 3) stayed still. But the kinder kids were nuts. They went on the trampoline and me watching them thru the window while i was washing the dishes wasn't so great. No one bothered to go there and supervise them. and the kid fell off. Bum first hitting the ground and his head against the fence. OUCH! ..

Later they had to barge into my room and grab stuff. -_-' didn't want them in there so they grabbed the narnia happy meal toys i got and played with them. was hoping to one day sell them in the future to some narnia crazy fan for lots of money but AGH! now all 8 books and toys are pretty much shredded *sigh*

At least i calmed the boys down by switching on the playstation and as for the other girl over. I got her to sit down and draw. aww..i wish she gave me that portrait she drew of me. Kid drawings are awesome. Hmm.. HAHAhahah she drew someone with three eyes..that was kinda funny.

At least this evening was to celebrate the kindness of my mum's work members and her recovery.. well she is heaps better than b4 =]

i just can't concerntrate when it come to homework. =_=' and now that i look at the english homework.. I DON'T HAVE ANY ARTICLES.. so guess i will be heading off to the library to find some of last years papers *sigh*

gah..only so little days left of the holidays.. i can't believe it's happening.. my mind is too premature for this..the workload for year 12.. YEAR 12!! arghh.. someone give me a potion that will turn me into a nerd or something..i'm definately not going to concerntrate.

Romulus my father isn't half bad, i guess i like pplz stories and that dog novel thing is okay..wow what an amazing memory that chris kid has. Better still.. since while i am working is the only time i'm studying.. i'm getting PAID! to stand and study! hahhaah..

lol.. it's been ages since harry potter has been out i know...since last year.. but hey i watched it today. Bleh, cinema was actually full as well.. geez. Had to sit three rows from the front.. shocking.

Movie went for ages too.. but i guess it was alright.. they should have made that whizard cup more exciting though. More places where harry has close encounters to death would have made it better
ah wellz.. it's all good. i give it 3.5 stars
