how to stay awake in lectures...

in no particular order...

1. Eat breakfast . four weetbix + will be sufficient.

2. Have at least 6 hours of sleep the night before

3. Bring snacks (you will stay awake but might end up distracted my the different colours of the lollies XP )

4. Sit next to some ultra smart guy/girl . (you tend to either pay attention and try to keep up with their level.. or since they are a stranger you fall asleep)

5. Sit next to your friends (they will definately keep you awake..but you might end up chatting or doodling over each other's lecture notes)

6. Sit at the VERY front of the theater .. ( hahaa.. nargena fell asleep in front of lecturer.. how embarrassing =P )

7. Do the pre-reading (so you understand what is going on so you don't give up and tune out)

8. Wear uncomfortable clothing?? (haven't tried that one)

9. Sit at the back of the theater.. ( you will stay awake because they always talk up the back..and in the case of chemistry/bio throw paper planes.. only problem is that you can't concentrate on what's being said)

10. Don't print the lecture notes.. (so you have to make your own notes first... but then again.. you think i cant be bothered this will be on the slides -___- )

yer.. so that's ten ways i just pulled out of no where to stay awake in lectures.. so far no. 1, 4, and 7 work for me =] but yer.. should read more -______-"

lalala... there is heaps of information to process and take in .. the city is such a busy place.
Still not used to it -__-" even just balancing on a tram takes so much effort....probably because i don't want to be touched by any of the other people standing up =P

but yer.. i feel a bit like christopher boone lol.. everytime i walk through melbourne central.. during some point i would have to look at the floor..coz there are just too many people.. too many faces.. to many shops.. too much info.. curse my curiosity to look around..and remember things.. =[

bought meself a new bag for uni =] yay.... lala.. the shop wasnt open till 11am so i bummed around bourke st and .. woaH! first time i saw someone actually wear a Mankini!! is that how ya spell it.. but yer.. i think they were promoting the Borat film.. but still .. Ewwwwwwwwwww!

lala.. china town is deserted in the morning.. guess all the Asians are lazy and dont open shop early.

there was one store that was open early..in that village walk way on bourke street. sold koren/jap dvd/music i think.. anyways..they had the deathnote movie playing.. so i just watched it.. hmm.. looks interesting... =]

hm. allan's music is also on bourke st ..lol am i spellin it right..? anyways.. AHH THE BRASS SECTION!! *love* so shiny.. hmm. french horns are decreasing in price.. dang..i got it around 4.2k and now they are 3.6k .. well Yamaha anyways..

what i've noticed in lectures.. everyone is SOOOOOOO noiSY!! @.@ makes it hard to settle down..thus lectures start late..end late.. poop..

but yer.. i tend to listen to stuff..coz my eyes are bit ...tired lol.. cant be stuffed looking..so.. i'm aware of me surroundings prob. a bit more than the person next to me... and they BREATHE loudly -_-" .. yer.. but for chem.. i've come to realize everyone has those four coloured pens..you know the ones you click and it changes...yer..well that's REALLY annoying..when they all do it at different times. -__-... go 2B pencil!! and eraser =P

also 400 people socialising in the same space at the same time and crescendo..to incredible frequencies.. so you cant help but catch random conversations around you..

on that did surprise me was ..."...i want to spend the rest of my life with her"... zomg. *creepy*
and...i find this one hilarious...

some guy dropped/left his pencil case in copland theatre ..so the girl picked it up..and found his mob. no. .. so being caring she called..and tells him he left it there...i can return it....

ALICE!! yay..someone i know ^^ hmm... it's a shame the other thing next to me is a sink .and not a human -_-.. i need all the help i can get
