Nova cinemas rock - yay for trailers during previews!!! and leg room and comfy chairs
Grr to village..and their ads on coke, beer and hygene products >=[
Juno - was so so.. haha yes it had lots of promising reviews and as such..
made me expect more.. other than that.. was good and original 4 stars

The Darjeeling Limited - incredibly insanely haphazardly hilarious
just watch it =P and ignore the first 15 mins of sex scenes -.=
5 stars

Spy Kids 3D - LOL! such a corny cliche film. but it was overall okay
because of the all star cast.. lol at george clooney being the president..(and
saying "I think that's the end of my career" in the bloopers..haha.. yer..dodgy dodgy movie)..
and elijha wood being "the one" that directs them to the end of the game..only had 2 mins
screen time.. but SO funny

There's something about mary - derr.. wasnt good at all..
I didnt see the build up to any climax..seemed more like a 30min comedy episode
or something 1 star

Dumplings - Eergghh. great cinematic but ..pass.. 4 stars technques
1 star plot - eating fetus' in dumplings *ewww*

2046- brilliantly composed..despite characters talking to each other in different
languages..that was a bit odd at first.. but added the effect

finally bought paprika but havent seen it.. hmm..to trust steve's word..

sorta like Malcolm in the middle commentary but less of the sarcastic extreme comedy.

nova cinemas are better 100% trailers ..watch "into the wild" everyone..or get a copy of it when it goes dvd.. 2hours+40mins..but one insane life changing true story..wow.. 6 stars from me.. although i guess many people of our age group would classify it under boring and bum hurting.
Book of Secrets was alright.. had some breathtaking moments. derr.okay just one..
first movie was better more codes/puzzle to crack. 2nd movie better more action/sites

random highlights of the week..or last week. i forgot..

1. koreans.
ZOMG! what is up with that?? (in a surprised way..not mean way =.=) taken the train ..and i heard no english for two days. lots of koreans ..wow.. is glen waverley buzzing with them usually and I hadnt noticed? or tourist? i dunnoz..but the lack of english creeped me for a bit..
the language is interesting though..bubbly..but in a more nicer sound to the ears compared to mandarin bubbly/blur-ness.

met a korean backpacker in the city.. he asked me directions for melb uni.. haha.. i was heading up anyways.. interesting fellow... left me with the words ... "you kind me".. bwahahaha..

2. txt me
bwahhha..some bloke aged 16-21 i believe judging from what i've read seems to have the wrong mobile number and has been messaging my mum instead.. forgive me random person for posting this..but it is SO fUNNY!

the first txt was..something along the lines of.. ' i've been drinking and thinking of you..i cant stop thinking about you.. text back'.. bleh..sister deleted it..but it was something like that..and all typed funny...

here is the follow two received a few days later..

righto.. i say . .four stars.. Disney movie definitely worth watching...and one for the whole family...anyone really.. just so melodramatic is damn funny. Was laughing for half the movie...more so the fact that the male lead is played by James Marsden who is also the whippy CYCLOPS in Xmen movies. !!! bwhahaha..

The film is comedy/adventure/romance
Well casted. Lots of song and singing in first half. Ending was typical/ not the best ever.. but this is to be expected for this genre of film. Therefore, it fulfilled what it set out ta do. Watch it =]

The Golden Compass * * *
Hmm.. firstly Trilogy. so more to come. It starts of quite slow..and is so for a while.. but the animated ice bears.. derr.. i think they are animated.. well. the graphics are REALLY GOOD!! and believable...on the surface it appears to be a quest/journey/self discovery film.. but theres deeper stuff under it all...which in found a bit disturbing..like seperating kids from their souls etc etc. once again i would like to say well casted.. the kids actually ACT! ... well!.. better then the Narnia kids =.= ..they were shocking. The sound track *thumbs up*


Alvin and the Chipmunks * * *

Lighthearted film. As expected.. some might be squealing aww!! chipmunks!! but it wasnt too great.
Not a fan of squeals.. but the plot was a heart warming one i guess.. Dav i think is the male lead..he's a musical that is broke..and almost hit breaking point... and then comes these guys...who at first annoy the crap out of him..but they save the day...

Pucca * * * *
Tv series i think.. Sat mornings channel 7 .. just flicked tv on one day.. and WOAH. BRILLIANTLY ANIMATED! The characters are v. simplisticly drawn but effective *hooked* hahaa.. i think most of the 5 minute mini stories are based around their tagline "funny love". But tis really lighthearted stuff and nice to watch.That 70's show * * * * *
Ah. always thirty mins of random whack funny laughs..

ohh..and so is Malcolm in the Middle =]

Drawn Together * * * *
It's back ON! hehe.. comedy cartoon like south park..that plays on political issues.. but more so ..its just sick =.=' and rude.. half the time i dont understand the jokes.
Plot - basically it's Big Brother..but for these 8 cartoon characters.. All with their own attitudes and problems. ..being drawn together and stuck in a house.. its funny to watch. Ling Ling and Xandir are hilarious.

Bee Movie * * * *
Animated comedy.. for everyone to watch. Ahh some of the jokes were lame.. but given the context v. entertaining..and funny. The chants they do and synchronized dances may be odd but just catches your attention and keeps you watching.
didnt know how it would end but thePlot - a bee suing the human race for selling their honey?? I adventure barry the bee goes through it is entertaining
