i don't have time to blog decently. dammit.

but the summary of the past couple of days or whatever it was (i lost track of time)
includes:

- family road trip to Daylesford, Bendigo, Hanging Rock
pity hanging rock closed so we didnt get to hike up. Destination for next road trip guys?
- Christmas family bbq
- evening with DD watching the lightning from inside cozy house, over random stories =]
- i have a fulltime job contract to read/understand/sign >.>
- i got into masters at melb and monash >.>
- catching up with jenny after how many years =P
- tintin IS AWESOME! gah so much to say. spielberg ya've done it again. splendid. impressed it didnt hit the uncanny valley nerve

but most exciting of all

writing xmas cards =]

so for those high school friends whom i still believe live with their parents and i have their addresses, I'm writing up some xmas cards hahaha...

but i was wondering, does anyone do that anymore? or is Facebook, e-cards, and internet the go.
Few years back i was receiving some e-cards with personally messages, which is cool as there is a flashy shiny animation that goes with it.

but when it comes down to a one message for a text or facebook "hey guys! thanks for an awesome year, merry christmas!" ..i dunno... i guess you get your point across but derr... its so public 0_0
lol. i never imagined xmas cards go public.
Don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining or anything, just curious to see things change gradually and what that many entail. =P
a zillion email messages to send lol.

The Box Hill Community Arts Centre is seeking

energetic, responsible, reliable CARTOONIST! for school holiday program

Toon Time is a program for primary school aged children and currently runs on a Monday afternoons. Toon Time Beginners runs from 4.00pm until 5.30pm followed by Toon Time Advanced from 5.45pm – 7.15pm. The Cartooning teacher is responsible for setting the program, which runs for approximately 8 weeks each school term. In the past, the class has explored both Eastern and Western styles of cartooning. Ideally, you will be a cartooning artist, a competent illustrator who can demonstrate different drawing styles and also possess the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to teach. Term 1 classes commence Monday 6 February 2012.

The class runs with a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 12 students. Experience delivering similar cartooning programs is desirable and experience working with children is essential.

You will require a Working with Children’s Check, a current First Aid qualification and are responsible for your own public liability insurance.
This is a contract position, with hours as required throughout the year, the majority being a Monday afternoon.
